This year's conference

This year's conference will take place at St Paul's Girls' School, London, led by Izzy Foley and her team from Friday 31 May until Sunday 1 June 2013. As usual you can expect a fabulous range of professional workshops, breakout sessions, social events and special guests.

Plans are well under way to ensure a broad range of workshops to suit all tastes. I am pleased to announce that our practitioners this year will include the legendary theatre company Complicité whose workshop focus will be on ensemble devising. The Lecoq-trained mime ensemble Theatre Ad Infinitum will also be joining us this year following the success of the award winning Translunar Paradise. Gemma Brockis, founding member of Shunt will be leading sessions. Other workshops will be led by Didi Hopkins, the renowned Commedia dell’Arte expert and actor and voice artist Jonathan Keeble who will be leading workshops specifically focussing on developing vocal skills with your students.

Please do contact me if you haven't attended the NISDA conference before and would like to know more about the event at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We have already sourced a variety of options for accommodation to suit differing budgets, including the option of camping as launched by Steve at Queen's College last year. Further details will be provided in your initial letter.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries about the conference this year.

Looking forward to welcoming you all to sunny Brook Green.

Best wishes
